What to expect from the programme

 

As with all my therapies, I offer an initial complimentary consultation with no obligation to continue into therapy if you decide hypnosis is not for you. During this consultation we will discuss your individual needs and your ultimate goal. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and for me to take an appropriate history to help me individualise your weight control scripts. If you are new to hypnotherapy you may also like to experience a complimentary relaxation trance to familiarise yourself with the relaxing benefits of hypnosis.

The programme itself consists of four sessions, which are all tailored to your individual needs. As well as hypnosis you will be shown how to use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) which will enhance your feelings of well-being, keep you positive and address any cravings you may have..

 

The cost of the programme includes a back-up CD to take away and enjoy using at home and written notes on EFT and how to use it.

We are all born with a natural ability to control our own size and weight. Think of any baby at a meal time - when they have taken enough food they will simply refuse to take any more. They will either spit the bottle out or refuse to open their mouth for the spoon. This inbuilt instinct allows the baby be healthy and thrive. So where does it go wrong?  Weight control issues unfortunately often start at a young age. How many times do

well-meaning parents say “Eat it all up and you can have pudding” or “You can’t go out to play until you finish ALL your dinner”. This learned response to eat more than you need means you no longer listen to the signals your body sends to you to let you know to eat when you are actually hungry and to stop when you are full. By using hypnotherapy we can gently guide your subconscious mind back to its natural ability to eat only when you are hungry and to stop when you  have had enough. There is no cutting out the foods you like or going hungry.
